Installation Process

Every Grey Stone Coatings floor is crafted with precision and care. Here’s how we bring your concrete to life:

1. Grinding & Preparation

We begin by mechanically grinding the surface to remove imperfections and open the concrete’s pores. This ensures maximum adhesion of the coating system.

2. Base Layer Application

A durable polyurea base layer is applied, forming a strong bond to the concrete. This layer provides structure and acts as the foundation for the flake system.

3. Decorative Flake Broadcast

While the base coat is still wet, we evenly distribute decorative flakes across the surface. These flakes add color, texture, and slip resistance.

4. Scraping & Detailing

After curing, the surface is scraped and vacuumed to remove excess flakes, leaving a uniform texture ready for sealing.

5. Polyaspartic Top Coat

Finally, we apply a high-performance polyaspartic top coat that seals and protects your floor. It provides UV resistance, chemical protection, and a glossy, easy-to-clean finish.
